Demo Environment Retention Notices

What's on this screen

When an inactive demo environment is archived or removed, Studio displays a non-blocking banner below the header on every page. The banner can show when the environment was archived, its recovery deadline, and the action available to you.

How to recover an archived demo environment

  1. Review the Archived date and Recovery deadline in the banner.
  2. Select Unarchive before the recovery deadline.
  3. Wait for Studio to restore the Domain. The retention notice disappears after the action succeeds.

How to dismiss a notice

  1. Select Dismiss demo environment notice in the banner.
  2. Continue working; dismissing the banner does not change the Domain or its retention state.

What you'll see

  • Archived — the banner shows the archive date, recovery deadline, and Unarchive action.
  • Deleted — the banner explains that the inactive demo environment was removed and tells you to create a new demo environment when you need a replacement. It does not link to the removed Domain.
  • No active notice — no retention banner appears when your demo environment is active, the notice was dismissed, or demo retention is not enabled for the deployment.
  • Action in progressUnarchive and Dismiss demo environment notice are temporarily unavailable while the selected action completes.
